✨ Baby Liko – Prototype✨

Meet Liko, Leilani’s brother and my first pour from my original sculpt. Like his sister, Leilani who is also posted in my nursery, he was sculpted, molded, and poured entirely by me with love and care. Liko is poured in Ecoflex 20 and has built-in armatures for gentle posing.

👀 He has beautiful brown glass eyes with lashes carefully applied using silicone so they stay secure and won’t shift. His mouth has also been opened, allowing him to take a pacifier.

💖 Please note: Liko, like Leilani, is not factory-perfect—he has some minor flaws as he is completely handmade. That only makes him more unique and full of character.

He will come home with:

Liko is a very special baby with deep meaning, ready to bring love and warmth to his forever home. 🌸 🌺 In Loving Tribute 🌺

These sculpted babies are more than art.

They are born of grief, love, and remembrance.

On the day the fires took the lives of precious children in Lahaina,

my heart broke — and my hands began to move.

From that sorrow, Leilani was sculpted —

a heavenly flower in memory of the little ones who now rest in eternal light.

Then came Liko —

a bud, a symbol of new beginnings, innocence, and life that continues to bloom.

When I chose their names, I had no idea of their meanings.

It was only later I discovered how perfectly Leilani and Liko reflected their spirits.

To me, this feels like divine guidance — a whisper from above that these little ones were meant to be.

Each of these babies carries a sacred whisper…

a tribute to the children lost, and a blessing for those still with us.

May they remind us to treasure life, protect the innocent,

and hold space for beauty even in the midst of sorrow.
